Tesla unveiled their Model Y SUV last week. Pricing starts at $47,000 and production will start sometime in 2020. There will be a $39,000 version as well but it will not be available until later down the road. The Model Y will be the fourth vehicle in the California automaker's lineup, the new SUV has the potental to be the most successful model Tesla sells.
As for performance, the Model Y Long Rang will deliver 0-60 mph sprints in around 5.5 seconds, while the Dual Motor AWD version will shave that figure down to 4.8 seconds. The Model Y Performance, which starts around $60,000, should do 0-60 mph in a blistering 3.5 seconds and top out at 150 mph and still deliver an estimated 280 miles of driving (Long Rang est. 300 miles).
